Rising star Frank Bird continues his path to Formula One as he plans to contest another season of international sports car racing.

Frank Bird
Continuing to make the grade at international level is Frank Bird, who will be continuing his circuit racing career and for 2024, he is a member of the official Mercedes AMG Motorsport Team and will be contesting a number of events in Europe in a factory-supported Mercedes AMG GT3.
Frank’s 2023 season kicked off with contesting the four-round Asian Le Mans Series with the German-based Haupt Racing Team driving a Mercedes AMG-GT3. Frank will be competing for HRT in the 2023 Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe with AWS in the Sprint Cup class alongside Australian teammate Jordan Love.
Frank has gained experience in both Ginetta Juniors as well as in in the MSA Formula Championship in recent years and as well as being a regular points scorer in the Formula Renault Eurocup and more recently over the past couple of seasons in the GT World Challenge with Bentley and Audi.
He is rapidly establishing himself as an accomplished Sports Endurance driver with a victory in Dubai to his credit and also competing in the Asian Le Mans Series for McLaren where he has scored a podium finish. He is a also a race winner and regular podium finisher in the GT European Cup and ADAC Masters Championships in recent years for Mercedes.
Frank is an accomplished rally driver in his own right, winning numerous events on both gravel and asphalt and has also been recognised with the award of ‘Rising Star’ accolade by the British Racing Drivers’ Club (BRDC).
