Profile
GLENN IRWIN
For Glenn, it’s his second spell with the PBM team having made his BSB debut on the Be Wiser Ducati in 2016 scoring two podiums on his way to 12th in the final standings as teammate to BSB legend Shane ‘Shakey’ Byrne who won the title.
Irwin went on to claim his first BSB win the following year at Silverstone on the team’s Be Wiser Ducati on his way to a top twelve finish again whilst starting a remarkable run of Superbike victories at the North West 200. He also took the win at the Macau Grand Prix.
However, 2018 was when Glenn announced himself as a major contender for the BSB title. Again with PBM Ducati power, a win and six further podiums propelled him to third in the overall standings as well as two more Superbike wins at the NW200.
