PBM Ducati Plan For 2023 Season

Further to the recent announcements that Tommy Bridewell and Glenn Irwin will contest the 2023 Bennetts British Superbike Championship for Cumbrian-based Paul Bird Motorsport (PBM), the team wishes to advise that they have not renewed their partnership with former sponsors MCE for next season.

The eight-times British Superbike champions are currently in negotiation with a number of interested parties regarding title sponsorship which will see both riders contest the eleven-round BSB series on a pair of brand-new 2023 Ducati Panigale V4Rs.

Team Co-Ordinator John Mowatt: “We would like to place on record our thanks to MCE for their involvement last season, it was a single-year deal, and we enjoyed our association which benefited both parties. However, we are now moving into a new era for PBM. We have two hungry riders on brand-new, factory-supported Ducati V4Rs and it’s our intention to win back the crown we last held in 2020. There is still availability to join PBM as title, corporate and associate sponsors for 2023 and beyond and we’d be happy to discuss details with any interested parties. We look forward to starting our testing schedule next year and are confident that we will see PBM back at the sharp end.”
